When I stepped into life coaching, I had no doubt about my purpose. I had been through the hard seasons — grief, depression, anxiety, the kind of deep ashes most people never talk about — and I had walked out the other side through God's glorious restoration. I had something real to give. I knew it.

But a discovery call? That was a different kind of fear entirely. The thought of connecting with a woman who was hurting and then having to transition into sharing my offer felt wrong. I did not want to sound like a salesperson. Selling felt like the opposite of everything I was called to do.
